  1. Looks like a nasty attack of Black Bean Aphids which adore nasturtiums and do actually as you said, suck the poor plant dry! Some people actually grow the poor old nasturtium as a sort of “sacrificial plant” to attract the bugs away from their other plants. When the nasturtium is covered in black bean aphids it is pulled up and destroyed, seems a bit sad to me!! Not much of a life acting as a decoy plant, getting drained of your life force by ravenous aphids and then being wrenched out and destroyed!
