  1. I know what you mean about being too cold to watch the football even on a warm day in March as I have the same problem.

I used to go to all the home matches at Lincoln City and some away ones. Now though, like you it is too cold for me to sit and watch a game so have to be content with seeing the odd game on TV and following the scores on ceefax. The local BBC radio station seems only to do the away games and even then seem to talk about everything else but the match will suddenly blurt out “Oh yes. We’ve scored a goal or they’ve scored” and that’s about it.

  2. I used to go to Elland Road to watch Leeds United play in the days of Don Revie, Billy Bremner, Eddie Gray, Duncan Mckenzie and Norman Hunter etc. That was a while ago!

  3. Wow ! I have never been to a match in my life…have i missed something ? Been to Ikea though :o)

  4. I’m ok thanks Grace, not great but Ok. It’s also the school hols so my computer is being used to play multiplayer “Age Of Empires” from time to time. Cheers.
