Arsenal for one…
I have to admit that the commentary on the Radio was fairly dire…
We’ve had most of our internal doors replaced over the past week. It’s been a bit chaotic in the house and the doors look really good. Lots to do in terms of finishing off, just have to find a suitable wax for the doors.
Far more interesting than the football..
Oh Well, looks like the youtube version was not official, I’m sure it was posted by the author, but hey.. there you go… Maybe the BAs complained… who knows
I still think it was a well produced video…. and can be found
at the Heresluck website…..
There’s an interesting series of programmes on the Beeb radio4, I think it’s tuesday mornings at 9.30….
Here’s the programmes info page with links to “Listen Again” for the first two episodes on Pain and Balance

Well that was just a wee bit disappointing, hardly any snow at all. The sky is clearing a bit now, even some patches of blue sky.
I’m not even going to look at what is forecast for tonight, but I don’t think it will be snow.
The sky was blue just a half hour ago, even as I type this the whispies are giving way to thicker cloud cover….
The forecast is for several inches of snow by the morning…..
Prime Minister’s E-Petitions: I’ve seen a few of these lately, and there is one currently running campaigning for more Neuromuscular clinics, and more research monies for DMD.
I know that the Neuromuscular centre at Frenchay has closed, and was the only one in the south-west. It seems totally wrong that this should have been closed when Frenchay is supposed to be a regional centre of excellence for neurological services (historical if not actual)
Anyway, off my soap-box, here’s the linkipoos
(this focuses mostly on DMD research, but it will inevitably have a knock-on effect for other neuromuscular conditions)
The weather seems a little more seasonal, I heard mutterings about snow on the way on radio4 this morning.
Goodness knows what effect it will have on the garden, the warm weather has brought on a flourish of growth. I just hope it doesn’t get knocked off by a sudden change to cold weather.
I’m more stable now, having stopped the new meds and gone back to the old ones.
